Shifnal are currently 3rd in the Midland League but could go top if they win their game in hand on the top two, whilst Vics are in 14th and face a difficult Christmas period as they face 3 of the current top 4 teams over the next three matches. Last season, both teams shared the spoils against each other, with Vics winning 2 - 1 in their home match at the end of the season but lost 3 - 0 at Shifnal in January
Shifnal Town were founded in 1964 although there were other clubs with similar names playing in the town since Victorian times. They have had a few ups and downs over the years with ground problems but have moved up the leagues and were promoted to The Midland League Premier Division in 2021. Their leading marksman Joe Cuff has just returned back to the Club after a short loan spell at Stafford Rangers and has scored 9 goals in 15 matches, whilst Kevin Monteiro also has 9 goals to his credit but from 24 matches.

M6 to Junction 19, follow A556 westwards until slip road for the A533, follow A533 until roundabout, onto the industrial estate, turn right at that roundabout and take the A5018 until next roundabout, bear left onto Wharton Roard to the Top House pub, turn left onto Kingsway and left again to ground.
