MIDLAND LEAGUE PREMIER DIV'N/b]
[b]SATURDAY 14th DECEMBER 2023 3.00pm KICK OFF
STUDLEY v NORTHWICH VICTORIA
Another long away trip for Vics this weekend, when they travel down the M6 yet again to take on Studley FC.
Studley were formed in 1971 under the name BKL. The team was put together by employees of BKL Fittings and played in the Redditch Sunday League. The Club as we know now : Studley FC, came into existence on the 2nd July 2002. they play their home matches at the Beehive and are also known as the Bees. The Bees were moved across to the Hellenic Football League and were crowned Champions of Division 1 in the 21/22 season and promoted to the Midland league Premier Division. Studley finished 6th in the Midland League last season ( out of 20) , and just missed out on the play offs on goal difference. Studley currently lie 9th in the League with inconsistent form over the last few weeks.
A new look Vics will be looking to build on their encouraging win in a friendly against Maine Road the other weekend, which gave the squad some much needed match practice together. There will be a number of changes from the team which last played, as there has been lot of movement both in and out of the Cub over the last few days, details of which will be given in the next few days.
Your support is massively important as we go through the season and we hope to see you down at Studley
