Stourport Swifts FC are a football team from Stourport-on-Severn, and one of the oldest non-league teams in the country having been formed in 1882. They currently lie 11th in the league with 9 points from 9 matches having won 2, drawn 3 and lost 4, having finished 4th last season.
They have just appointed Ben Jevons as their new manager after their latest defeat in midweek saw the end of Quentin Townsend reign as manager after 6 years there.
What's the ground like? The whole pitch is surrounded by hard-standing, whilst the clubhouse/dressing room block, which you enter from alongside, has some covered standing available out front. The clubhouse is decent, with real ale in bottles and various drinks on draught such as Strongbow and Strongbow Cloudy Apple. The tea bar offers the usual burgers and chips, A seated stand runs most of the length of the right-hand side of the pitch, with a grassy area behind each goal too. The other side to the stand is tree-lined, behind which runs the River Severn.

DIRECTIONS :
Take the M6 then M5 to Junction 3 and take the A456 towards Kidderminster, before bearing left onto the A450 in a few miles. In approx 6 miles , go left onto the A449 signposted Stourport, then almost immediately right onto the B4193 Rectory Lane. In 2.2 miles at the roundabout , take the 2nd exit A4025 and follow the A451 signs through the town. After crossing the River Severn, Harold Davis Drive is on your left.
Travel time should be approx 1 hour 45 mins from Northwich
