Stone Old Alleynians FC was founded in 1962 by Dave Bonnet, a teacher at, and a former pupil of Alleyns Grammar School in Stone. The Club started in division 4 of the Stafford Amateur League, gaining promotion to division 3 in their second season. The following season saw them promoted again, and further promotion followed as they finished Champions of Division 2. The 1970/71 season saw the Club win the top League for the first time, to be followed by winning it again a further 3 times. The 2019/20 season saw the Club make their debut in the FA Cup and in 2021 they were promoted to the Premier Division of The Midland League based on their results in the abandoned 2019/20 and 20/21 seasons. Last season they finished 13th in the Midland League but they are struggling this season in 15th position just 2 points ahead of the Vics but having played 3 games more so this is a real 6 pointer.

DIRECTIONS :

M6 to Junction 19, follow A556 westwards until slip road for the A533, follow A533 until roundabout, onto the industrial estate, turn right at that roundabout and take the A5018 until next roundabout, bear left onto Wharton Roard to the Top House pub, turn left onto Kingsway and left again to ground.
