Tuesday sees another relatively short awayday for Vics when they make the journey to play Uttoxeter Town.

After starting out life in the Staffordshire County League, Uttoxeter Town were one of the founder members of the Midland Football League in 2013/14, and were promoted up to the Premier Division for the 21/22 season after Covid. Last season they were reprieved from relegation back to Division 1 due to Winsford United's decision to take voluntary relegation.
However they have started this season well and currently lie 6th in the table with 10 points from 5 matches and have won their last 3 on the run in the League. Men to watch are Matty Redshaw who has 4 goals from 4 starts, and Mike Conlan who has 3 from 4.

Vics will be looking to improve on their current form which has seen them lose their last two league matches 3 - 0 , both at home , but will have striker Sam Unwin back after suspension.

Take the M6 to J16 and join the A500 to Stoke, then in 9.7 miles, take the A50 slip road signed Uttoxeter/Derby. Uttoxeter following signs for . At the roundabout , take 2nd exit A50. Keep on the A50 for 14.6 miles, then take the 3rd exit at McDonalds Roundabout onto the B5030. In 0.3 miles, 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A522 Cheadle Road, then in 1/2 mile, take the 2nd exit onto High Street. Go through one mini roundabout , and Springfield Road is on the right in 1/4 mile.
