ISUZU FA VASE/b]
[b]SATURDAY 21st OCTOBER 2023 3.00pm KICK OFF
BISHOP AUCKLAND v NORTHWICH VICTORIA
What is the ground like? Heritage Park is a tidy modern stadium, being opened in 2010. On one side is the Main Stand. This covered seated stand runs for around a quarter of the length of the pitch and sits astride the half way line. Above the seating section is a glassed area, which houses amongst other things the club bar. On either side of the Main Stand are open flat standing areas The other side of the stadium is most notable for the large Sainsburys store that overlooks it. Otherwise on this side of the stadium there are no facilities for spectators apart from a flat open standing pathway running alongside the pitch perimeter fence. At the West End of the ground is a covered terrace, which at around seven steps high, houses up to 500 fans. It is set back a little from the pitch, but again it is free of any supporting pillars, ensuring a good view of the playing action. At the opposite East End two blocks of temporary open seating that have an open gap between them. The small car park is reserved for match officials and BAFC members. All other parking will be in the larger car park and it will be on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Please do not park on the grass verge outside the ground as police are likely to issue parking tickets.
Bishop Auckland currently lie 4th in The Northern League Division 1 , having lost only 1 of their 10 league games this season and in the previous round of the FA Vase, they beat Yorkshire Amateur 5-0 away from home.
Your support is massively important as we go through the season and we hope to see you up at Bishop Auckland.
