NORTHWICH VICS v SELBY TOWN AT BARTON STADIUM, WINSFORD

Vics embark upon their FA Vase journey on Saturday 26th August when they take on Selby Town of the Northern Counties East Football League 1st Division. Please note that this match is being played at Winsford United's Barton Stadium, as our landlords have a home match the same day.
Selby , after finishing mid table last season have started the new season well and have won 3 out of their 4 league matches so far with victories away at Swallownest, and at home against Shirebrook and Wombwell Town whilst their only defeat was last Saturday against Nostell Miners Welfare in front of a crowd of 290.

Meanwhile Vics are looking for their first win of the season, having drawn their first 2 league matches. Newcomers Marcus Perry and Llyton Chapman will be looking to start after impressing having come on in the second half against Stone OA. whilst Dylan Switters and Regan Whittaker have been added to the squad this week.

M6 to Junction 19, follow A556 westwards until slip road for the A533, follow A533 until roundabout, onto the industrial estate, turn right at that roundabout and take the A5018 until next roundabout, bear left onto Wharton Roard to the Top House pub, turn left onto Kingsway and left again to ground.
