30 year old Sam is an experienced tough tackling left back who started his career over at Altrincham Youth in 2010/11 as a left winger but had played for Nelson this season as left back and has made 20 appearances for them ironically scoring his only 2 goals of the season in his last match there against Garstang.

Manager Steve Pickup says :"It's great to have Sam on board. Not only is he a very good player with a great left foot, he's a top lad and a great character and fits perfectly into exactly what we are doing at this Club"

Sam has this to say " This Club is massive and the history behind it is incredible. I'm very excited to get firing into the last half of the season"

2) ALEXION SOUTHWICK-WILLIAMS

Our second signing is at the other end of the age spectrum, 17 year old Alexion Southwick-Williams who is a midfielder from Eccleshall. He has come through their youth teams but has yet to make a first team appearance this season but is an exciting young talent.

Manager Steve Pickup says "A great signing for the Club. This lad comes with a great attitude and has impressed so far in training. This lad has a bright future in the game as we continue to build for the future. He's also got the best name in our group chat!"
